This song is written in Jesus's perspective."i laid on the cross with a hymn" shows that God laid on the cross praising God the father without any complains. He could have leave us alone let us dwell in our sin and evil doings but Jesus chose to die for us.Jesus being God have to cum down to earth get into a earthly body that is maid up of dust.A body that have problems here and there..Jesus somehow laid aside His perfection.At the point where he was about to rise up to heaven the WHOLE WORLD'S weight was on Him.Thw WHOLE WORLD's sin was upon Him.He laid aside HIs holiness for us! Its us that brought Jesus up to the cross! Jesus had done so so much for you what would you do in return?one of the thing you can do for Him now is to start treating experiencing God seriously! start doin it daily and faithfully!
